(dancing girl press). Currently, Chen is a PhD student at the University of Denver and is working on a novel. She has taught and spoken at colleges, universities, and arts organizations including the Academy of American Poets, Poets & Writers, New York University, Yale University, and Wellesley College. Her work has received favorable notice in various critical venues, including The Rumpus, The Harvard Review, Cha: An Asian Literary Journal, Pleiades, Longreads, The Millions, and others. Her poetry, translations, and prose have appeared in Crazyhorse, A Public Space, Mid-American Review and elsewhere. Chen is the recipient of the Academy of American Poets Most Promising Young Poet Prize and earned her MFA in poetry from Syracuse University. Little Fiction were featured along side the likes of McSweeneys, The Rumpus. She also serves as the editor of Figure 1 and managing editor of Tupelo Quarterly.
